Customer Service Executive - Freight Forwarding

Expert Maritime (Pvt) Ltd (EMPL) is hiring a Customer Service Executive to support our freight forwarding operations. This role works based on overseas timing, coordinating directly with international agents and carriers to keep shipments moving smoothly for our customers. What You'll Do - Obtain freight rates from overseas agents and carriers - Prepare and send quotations to customers - Follow up on nominations - Coordinate with customers and agents on shipment requirements - Update and track shipment status - Ensure timely communication and documentation across the shipment lifecycle What We're Looking For - Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding (mandatory) - Good command of English, written and spoken - Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) - Good communication and follow-up skills - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Willing to work based on overseas timing Why EMPL EMPL is a licensed Sri Lankan freight forwarder (Class A, Licence No. FFA01490-2026) handling sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and logistics solutions for businesses moving commercial cargo.
