Virtual Back Office Executive

Expert Maritime (Pvt) Ltd (EMPL) is hiring a Virtual Back Office Executive to support our freight forwarding operations remotely. This is a genuine work-from-home logistics job for someone who wants real industry experience without the commute — you'll be working directly with overseas agents, carriers and customers on live shipments. What You'll Do - Obtain freight rates from overseas agents and carriers - Prepare and send quotations to customers - Follow up on nominations - Coordinate with customers and agents on shipment requirements - Update and track shipment status - Ensure timely communication and documentation across the shipment lifecycle What We're Looking For - Freight forwarding experience preferred (sea freight, air freight or customs exposure is a plus) - Good command of English, written and spoken - Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) - Strong communication and follow-up skills - Self-motivated and comfortable working independently - Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace Why EMPL EMPL is a licensed Sri Lankan freight forwarder (Class A, Licence No. FFA01490-2026) handling sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and logistics solutions for businesses moving commercial cargo.
